It’s August and the content well is dry as can be beyond the Urban Meyer scandal. Fortunately there is a hero out there giving us something to nibble on until football season really begins — that hero is LaVar Ball.
The Ballfather was up to his old tricks on Wednesday, as he took to Instagram to promote the JBA All-Star Game, which is a real thing, and once again call out Michael Jordan… in front of MJ’s statue in Chicago!!
LaVar says he waited six hours out there, but MJ was nowhere to be found.

The LaVar-Jordan “beef” stems back to spring 2017 when the BBB head said he would’ve killed No. 23 back in his heyday (via USA Today):
“Back in my heyday, I would kill Michael Jordan one-on-one,’’ said Ball, the 49-year-old basketball dad who is 6-6 and 270 pounds and has a mouth to match his size.
…
“I would just back (Jordan) in and lift him off the ground and call a foul every time he fouls me when I do a jump hook to the right or the left,” Ball said. “He cannot stop me one-on-one. He better make every shot ’cause he can’t go around me. He’s not fast enough. And he can only make so many shots outside before I make every bucket under the rim.”
MJ responded to this by saying he’d beat LaVar on one leg:

Honestly, now that LaVar is somewhat aligned with LeBron James he should just keep taking shots at MJ to get on Bron’s good side.
