Former Teacher Who Had Sex With Student Arrested For Allegedly Selling Drugs

via Utah County Jail

Sarah Lindsay Lewis is a former dance and social studies teacher at Landmark High School in Utah. She was arrested in 2017 for providing alcohol and having sex with a 17-year-old student in her home, and she’s back in the news today for allegedly selling drugs (meth) from her car.

The details from Deseret News:

Sarah Lindsay Lewis, 27, of Orem, was arrested Thursday, according to Utah County Jail records. On July 2, the Utah County Major Crimes Task Force discovered she was “selling narcotics from her car,” according to a probation violation report from Adult Probation and Parole.

She was found to be in possession of 12 ounces of meth, the report states.

Lewis was booked into jail for three days for violating the conditions of her probation. Agents are recommending that she be charged with drug distribution, but no formal charges have been filed as of Monday. If charged and convicted, she could receive more jail or prison time.

From banging a student to (allegedly) moving meth… suffice it to say that Sarah is on a downward spiral here.

Sarah plead guilty to unlawful sexual activity with a minor in June 2017, and was placed on Utah’s sex offender list. The report adds there’s a possibility of additional jail time if convicted for drug distribution.
