#Lavar Ball: What's next for #Liangelo since he wasn't drafted tonight? pic.twitter.com/jIN5X5OqM1

It feels like it’s been a while since we checked in on our old friend LaVar Ball. Seems like he’s been kinda laying low for a minute and surprisingly didn’t really finagle his way into any draft storylines last night. We all know his plan was to get all three of his boys drafted by the Lakers, but Luke Walton and Magic Johnson held up the proverbial middle finger to him after passing on Gelo three times.
So what’s next? LaVar says it’s summer league for the middle son in a surprisingly rational and normal response after the draft. The only problem is he has to get signed before he can play in the Summer League. As of now, it appears nobody wants to touch him because well, he’s not very good. Those are just facts.
There were actually fans who stayed for the entire draft waiting for LiAngelo’s named to be called

None of this matters because all three brothers will play together at some point, apparently

UPDATE…the Lakers pass
Lakers officially informed LiAngelo Ball he will not be on their Summer League team last night. They were determined to make this a basketball decision but as one source put it, “obviously there’s more to it than basketball.” In other words— the LaVar effect was real.
