Elizabeth Flint, a former adult volunteer at Glenbard East High School, was arrested last weekend for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a student and is now facing a charge of criminal sexual assault.
According to the Daily Herald, Flint, noted Miss EIU Fitness 2017, is accused of sexually assaulting the student three times at her home. As is standard in these cases, employees at the school thought she was a little shady and contacted the authorities.
“The allegations against (Flint) are, simply put, disgusting,” DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin said in a written statement. “It is alleged that she used her position of trust and authority to sexually assault a minor student on three separate occasions. This type of abhorrent behavior will not be tolerated.”
The alleged assaults were uncovered when school personnel grew suspicious of Flint’s behavior and alerted administrators. School authorities then contacted the DuPage County Children’s Center.
Flint is out of jail after posting $50,000 bail. A gig at another school likely isn’t in her future after this episode.
Per Flint’s LinkedIn, she studied Kinesiology and Exercise Science at EIU. She also happened to attend Glenbard East High School back in the day so that adds another layer of shame to this case.
