Michael Buffer Gets Soaked By Sprinklers, Keeps Announcing Soccer Starting Lineup

Michael Buffer had himself a weekend at the Chelsea vs Liverpool match where he was announcing the starting lineups when the sprinklers went off. Most PA announcers would run for cover, be rattled and rage on the grounds crew. Not Buffer. He worked through the obstacles. He gritted it out. He stayed true to the profession and rolled along as if he wasn’t being showered in front of a crowded soccer stadium.

This was, according to Buffer, his first Premiere League game and this happens.

The hardest part for the announcing hall of famer? THE INK!

HERE COMES THE RAIN (uh oh, it’s the sprinkler-HOLY SH*T!) Actually, hardest part was trying to read the smeared ink while knowing a few million are LTAO!

All things considered, I had a great time & saw a close game! #LetsGetReadyForFootball @WilliamHill pic.twitter.com/pPwSkmQDOk
