If you would rather not have your day get ruined by video of a leg getting snapped, we advise you X out of this post ASAP.
Still here?
Then we can carry on with this shocking video of Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen breaking a mechanic’s leg at the Bahrain Grand Prix. The incident occurred after Raikkonen got the green light to leave his pit despite only having three of is four tires replaced — this was the unfortunate result of that snafu:

Ferrari tweeted their mechanic suffered a shinbone and scapula fracture:
Apparently a shinbone and fibula fracture, our thoughts are with Francesco, stay strong #BahrainGP

Raikkonen, who did not finish the race because of the incident, said post-race his job is to go once he sees green (via Sky Sports):
“I don’t know what happened. For sure, it’s not great for him.
“I go when the light is green. I don’t see what happens behind and unfortunately he got hurt. My job is to go when the light says so. Hopefully he’s OK.”
Sidenote: Raikkonen retired from the race because that last wheel wasn’t fitted properly. It wasn’t solely because he ran over a dude’s leg.
