Trae Young Shoots Like Lonzo Ball, Throws Up Some Bricks

It’s well known that Trae Young is a three-point shooter extraordinaire — the Curry clone made 115 of them at a 36 percent clip in his up-and-down freshman season at Oklahoma. That being said, even Trae can’t make it rain with Lonzo Ball’s wonky shooting mechanics.
The future NBAer tried out Lonzo’s shot during a preseason interview with Overtime, and to the surprise of no one, it resulted in brick city:

If we’re being real, that shot isn’t exactly working for Lonzo either. He’s shooting 31 percent from long range this season, and is 6-36 in his last six games. But hey, at least he lit up the Spurs that one time.
Getting back to Young, he declared for the NBA Draft Tuesday and smartly did not consider his dad’s advice of returning for his sophomore season. His national coverage should quiet down for a couple months before ESPN goes into overdrive again.

Sidenote: Of course LeBron can shoot like Lonzo:
