Glen "Big Baby" Davis Arrested With Over 126 Grams Of Weed At A Maryland Hampton Inn

It’s been a tough fall from grace for your boy Big Baby. 10 years ago he was winning a championship with the Celtics as a key player and just 2 seasons ago he was still rumbling and stumbling around with the Clippers. Now he’s looking at some jail time after he was arrested with over 126 grams of weed in a Hampton Inn last month in Aberdeen, Maryland.
Also, not just weed. He had LOADS of cash with him too. Over $92,000. That sure doesn’t seem like someone planning to keep 126 grams of weed all for themselves. That’s drug dealer money.
The details of what was found in this hotel room is basically a checklist for things a weed dealer should have. Baggies, different strains, and a ledger with names. It sounds like Big Baby is a legit drug dealer now.
WMAR Baltimore:

According to court records, the hotel owner smelled marijuana coming from Davis’ room on February 7th.
When the owner knocked on room 208, someone inside the room told him to “F*@# off!”
Aberdeen police then responded to the hotel and Davis gave signed consent to search his room
“They recovered 126 grams of marijuana,” said Aberdeen Police Lieutenant William Reiber, “In addition to that there was a brief case that contained 92,164 dollars of U.S. currency along with a ledger that contained language which is consistent with someone involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics.”
The ledger was of names of people of who owed money along with baggies for individual packaging of a quarter pound of marijuana.
The strains were called “Sour D” and “Berry,” all from a Los Angeles wholesaler court records show Davis told police he was in business with.

Somehow he’s maintaining his innocence right now. Even though maintaining a ledger with names and amounts is like basically an arrow at who the drug dealer is.

Davis’ attorney, who could not do an on-camera interview about this case said that Mr. Davis adamantly maintains his innocence and looks forward to his day in court to clear his good name.
Glen “Big Baby” Davis is due in a Bel Air courtroom early next month.

Side note: how is one of Big Baby’s weed strains not named Ubuntu?
