On the heels of manufacturing a Lakers head coaching controversy, LaVar Ball is in the headlines again because Big Baller Brand allegedly gives its buyers of overpriced merch anything but big baller service. You’d assume a company pushing $495 sneakers would be good to their cult following, but the Better Business Bureau dropped the hammer with a harsh F rating — their reasoning:
Factors that affect the rating for Big Baller Brand include:
Length of time business has been operating
32 complaint(s) filed against business
Failure to respond to 12 complaint(s) filed against business
5 complaint(s) filed against business that were not resolved
To be fair to BBB, I know Lakers fans who have purchased gear from them with perfect service and no drama whatsoever. THAT BEING SAID, let’s enjoy some pissed consumer reviews…
11/25/17: Someone believes BBB stole money, is called a “small baller”
This company does not offer refunds. I purchased 2 items and was told there would be a 1-2 week delay. I have been waiting 6 weeks now, and when I asked why it was taking so long, I was called a “small baller”. At this point I believe they have decided to steal my money.
12/8/17: Buyer of “limited” ZO2s has major regrets
I’m emailing to find out what to do about a purchase I made in the US. I purchased a pair of the Big Baller Brand ZO2 WET AUTOGRAPH shoes that were advertised as Limited Availability and they were removed from the website when ***** **** was drafted by the ** ******* I’m Happy at that… point….. The purchase is nearly $2000 in ******** funds and the Big Baller Brand company has had my money for 6 months. My problem is that they are replacing the shoe I purchased with a different one and they are no longer limited availability since they’re still for sale on their site.
12/21/17: BBB ruins someone’s Christmas
i ordered a shirt (intended Christmas gift) for my son Nov 21st. i have sent the company 3 emails inquiring about the staus of the order and i have not received a reply. there is no phone number listed so i am not able to reach them. do not order anything from this company.
12/23/17: $25 for shipping?!? Even high-end department stores don’t shaft you like that
Brutal, Ordered a sweatshirt for our sons Christmas present on December 4, and followed up today as it does not provide any updates on their website. Have emailed them, and received the same standard response that apparently it is a holiday in the USA, so they must assume this order is being shipped off the planet. Big disappointment, and the company should consider reimbursing their clients for the shipping costs, as you are not getting the service you should for their $25 shipping fee.
TMZ notes Better Business Bureau CEO Blair Looney attempted to help out BBB but never heard back. Lavar must’ve been busy talking mess about Luke Walton and/or Lonzo Ball’s placeholder teammates.
