Auburn Bro Steals Braves Golf Cart, Crashes Into Pole, Runs From Police, Is Wanted

It sounds like Auburn bro Marcus Stephens had himself a strong weekend at a Braves game where he allegedly stole a Braves golf cart, crashed it into a pole and then ran from cops. It’s still unclear how the cops know it was Marcus who pulled the heist, but this story is gaining legs within the Atlanta social media community.

WSB-TV bulldog Ross Cavitt is all over this investigation:

From what I can tell via his Facebook page, Marcus is a recent Auburn graduate who has relocated to Atlanta.

It appears Marcus also was arrested back in 2015 for a breaking & entering:

Monday, the Auburn Police Division a 21-year-old Auburn man on a felony warrant for unlawful Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle and a misdemeanor warrant for third-degree theft of property.

The arrest of Marcus J. Stephens was the result of APD officers responding to a call reporting an auto burglary Monday in the 600 block of North Ross Street. A victim reported that a subject made unlawful entry into a vehicle and stole items from the vehicle. The suspect also stole items belonging to an additional victim, according to the APD.

Guy seems to know his way around cars and golf carts.
