The only downside of the Brewers owning four very capable outfielders in Ryan Braun, Keon Broxton, Hernan Perez and Domingo Santana? They have to wait for an injury to call up uber outfield prospect Lewis Brinson, who’s currently setting AAA on fire with a slash line of .313/.403/.496.

Age 22, first round pick by the Rangers in 2012, acquired in Jonathan Lucroy deal; hit .268/.305/.468 with 15 homers, 17 steals, 21 walks, 87 strikeouts in 406 at-bats between Double-A and Triple-A; excellent tools with speed, power, and throwing arm all impressive; offensive production remains erratic with pitch recognition that comes and goes, increasing his risk premium and keeping him from truly elite prospect status; 20/20 upside but expect some inconsistency. ETA 2017.
Suffice it to say the damage Lewis has done through two months has quelled questions on whether he’s an elite prospect or not.
The bad news for thirsty Milwaukee jersey chasers: Lewis already has a girlfriend in Christie McGrath. Judging from his IG, they go all the way back to his Ranger days.
