Cubs utility infielder Javier Baez has broken out in a big way this postseason, mesmerizing everyone with flashy defensive plays, hard-nosed baserunning and timely hits at the plate. His .318 average and 5 RBIs were even enough to earn co-NLCS MVP honors with Jon Lester at just 23 years old. Impressive stuff.
And now that he’s about to take the stage at the World Series, we figured you guys should get to know his better half, Irmarie Marquez. She’s also from Puerto Rico and seems to already be a fixture with the rest of the Cubs WAGs.
