There shouldn’t be a big fuss over an NFL preseason game, but, of course, people absolutely lost it when word leaked that tonight’s opening Hall of Fame game was canceled over turf issues.
Adam Schefter reported the turf congealed after the wrong paint was used on the field:
The paint that was applied today on middle of field, and in endzones, has congealed; would be like playing on tar.
Game now doubtful.
