If you were wondering where the hell Amanda Dufner’s Instagram page went (@aduff99), sadly it’s no more — because her surname will no longer be “Dufner.”
According to Golf Channel, Jason and Amanda have been separated since Feb. 17 due to an “irretrievable breakdown of the marriage” and have reached an agreement on a divorce settlement. The details on the settlement:
Amanda Dufner will receive a gross sum of $2.5 million, and Jason Dufner will maintain ownership of two houses in Auburn, Ala., including a 46-acre home that is under construction.
Considering that Jason has raked in close to $20 million in his career, this looks like a strong deal for him. Granted, losing $2.5 million probably sucks, but at least he gets to keep the houses that could be re-sold down the line.
On the downside for America, I’m not sure if we’ll ever see Amanda take a bikini shot while swinging her driver again. Sad day. However, there’s always the possibility that she re-emerges — as Amanda Boyd — and documents whatever island paradise she decides to hit as she gets through this tough time.
