This video, allegedly showing Rex Chapman stealing headphones from an Apple store, hit YouTube on Wednesday, raising the following questions: Is that Rex wearing a UK shirt while stealing headphones; And, why can’t Apple get HD surveillance video in their stores?
According to the Arizona Republic:
Chapman was arrested Friday on suspicion of shoplifting more than $14,000 in merchandise, including multiple headphones and a hard drive, according to the documents released Monday. Police said that within days of each incident, Chapman would visit the same Scottsdale pawnshop near Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard and sell the stolen merchandise for less than half of its value.
So what’s this all about? Drug habit? Behind on house payments?
How about gambling debts? This was from recent divorce proceedings.
