Super Bowl XLVIII is scheduled to happen at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. in less than a month (Feb. 2). Today’s forecast there called for a high temperature of 18 degrees and a low of just 5. That’s of serious concern for fans who have paid four-figures and up for Super Bowl tickets.
The NFL announced in December that it would provide commemorative seat cushions stuffed with a cold-weather survival kit, including “a hand muffler similar to the ones worn by NFL quarterbacks.”
The Northwest Company made the mufflers – let’s call them muffs for short. The company sent out a picture of Victoria’s Secret model Erin Heatherton showing off one of the muffs today.
Thanks to The Northwest Company, each fan in attendance at the Super Bowl will receive a handwarmer at their seat.
When last we heard, Heatherton was dating Browns’ tight end Jordan Cameron. Hopefully, Cameron will get to go to the Super Bowl with Heatherton as guests of Northwest or the NFL.
Otherwise, he may have to wait for a trade to attend one.
