Reporters in the Washington, D.C. market finally had an opportunity to ask Robert Griffin III about his balls on Wednesday.
No, it wasn’t in relation to that story.
Reporters asked Griffin why his dad stopped in the Redskins’ locker room following Monday night’s 27-6 blowout loss to the 49ers.
Answer: The elder Griffin was worried about RG3’s junk after the falcon kick San Francisco’s Aldon Smith delivered on Monday. You can go to the 5:00 mark of the video above to hear RG3 explain.
“Obviously I got kicked, you know, in the gonads. They wanted to see if I was ok there.”
“… He was just checking on that. No mom wants to see her kid out there getting hit, at all. So like I said, it was just him being a father, my mom being a mother. And there was no problem in that. ”
Whew. RG3, his wife and his parents can all be thankful that his junk is OK this Thanksgiving.
