Dan Uggla didn’t have the best season in 2013. The Braves’ slugger managed to hit 22 home runs, but his .179/.309/.362 slash line got him left off Atlanta’s playoff roster.
Uggla could spend his winter counting the $13 million he made this year (or making plans for the $13 million he’ll make in each of the next two years). Instead, he’s selling his dull mansion estate in Franklin, Tenn. for $1.125 million.
Inside a gated community, Uggla’s Tennessee manse offers everything you’d normally find in a McMansion built in 1999, except it has three wet bars and a billiards room. Uggla could have spent some nights analyzing his swing in those wet bars.
You think he entertained Bibi Jones there? The house seems really close to the neighbors.
Uggla’s Tennessee home is on the market on the heels of him upgrading to a Euro-style mansion in Fulton County, Ga. earlier this year. Guess he thought he’d be with the Braves for a while. Not sure he’s right about that.
Highlights of Dan Uggla’s Franklin, Tenn. Home:
• 5 bedrooms, 4 baths and 1 half-bath
• 15 miles to Cabaret Royale gentlemen’s club
• 1.6 miles from Whole Foods
