The Rays season is on the line again Tuesday night, as Tampa Bay takes on Boston in Game 4 of the American League Divisional Series in St. Petersburg. It’s the fifth elimination game that Joe Maddon’s team has faced since the last day of the regular season.
No wonder it never seems like the team has any fans; they’ve all had heart attacks.
Former AL Rookie of the Year Jeremy Hellickson of Tampa will face Red Sox hired gun Jake Peavy at 8:37 p.m. (EST- TBS), and no one will be more nervous than Natalie Cresta, the pretty brunette who has been dating Hellickson (making only $503,000 this season) for sometime.
Cresta is part of the Rays WAGs Mafia, the same group that took down the Marlins’ wives in softball earlier this year. She was also a part of the Rays on the Runway benefit fashion show the team and its significant others have done for eight years to raise money for the Children’s Dream Fund of the West Coast of Florida.
Cresta often tweets during Rays’ games, but we wouldn’t be surprised if she avoided social media today to lock in on her dude, who is pitching the Rays’ most important game of the year (for now).
