Thursday night’s Utah-UCLA game at Salt Lake City was arguably the most exciting contest on TV. The Bruins’ 34-27 win over the Utes was better than the Browns-Bills TNF tilt and miles ahead of Clayton Kershaw’s dominating performance against the Braves in Game 1 of the NLDS.
To rally fan support for the nationally televised game, Utah called for a blackout in the stands. A few Utes fans took it so far that they were in total blackface…

Yeah, dude, that is not cool, nor acceptable. Especially in Utah, a state that is whiter than the NHL.
Blackface has happened before at blackout games in other places, and even though the offending fans don’t seem to have hateful, racial motives, it shouldn’t need to be explained why you don’t wear blackface. Ever.
