Who is your favorite athlete?
Antonio Gates

What is your fondest sports memory?
Going to Chargers games with my dad when I was younger. He taught me a lot about the sport during those games, and I’ll never forget experiencing the electricity that runs through the stadium.

What sport would you play professionally if you could, and why?
I would love to be a track and field star! I ran hurdles in high school.

What’s your earliest memory of being a Padres fan?
I have a 1998 World Series memory that’s stuck with me after all these years. My family and I were driving in the car when we found out about the Padres making it to the World Series… and I’ll never forget, us and all the other cars started honking our horns and cheering!

What’s the best assignment you’ve worked as a Fox Sports Girl?
I had a really great time at Sunday’s Padres game against the Yankees. Petco Park was packed, and Cleatus came to help launch our big Fox Sports 1 road trip… he was a huge hit!

I always hear people from San Diego bragging about the weather. Is it really that great?
It’s pretty much terrible if you hate sunshine and being tan. Otherwise, it’s pretty great : )

What are you looking forward to on your upcoming Fox Sports 1 tour?
I’m most excited about connecting with sports fan all across the country. But I’m also looking forward to meeting and getting to know all my fellow Fox Sports Girls. I hear they’re a great bunch!

What Padres player should we be following on Twitter?
Yonder Alonso… @YonderalonsoU. He has a great Twitter presence.

As the new member of Fox Sports San Diego, was there an initiation you had to go through? Any hazing?
Yes, we have a pretty intense hazing ritual that I had to go through… but we all pinky promised to never speak a word of it. I’m kidding! Katie and Nathalie are so warm and welcoming and we’ve already built a very special friendship.

Over/Under Chargers wins this season: 8; What are you expecting out of them this year?
Over. In the first seven weeks, there’s likely four definite wins, probably five.
