Yasiel Puig just homered off Reds’ reliever Curtis Partch in the bottom of the 11th inning at Dodger Stadium to give L.A. a 1-0 win over Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon.
Not only did Puig flip the bat right after he connected off Partch, but he threw his hands into the air, went into a full trot and then slid into home after circling the bases. With epic trolling like that, Puig better stay loose in the batter’s box next time he sees the Reds.
Puig has 10 home runs and 23 RBIs to go along with his .372 batting average. The Dodgers are a scalding hot 26-6 in their last 32 games. At 56-48, they are 2.5 games up on Arizona in the National League West.
