Troy Aikman Buys Swanky Dallas Home, Will Make Closets Bigger [PHOTOS]

Troy Aikman must be pretty comfortable with his Fox TV contract. The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and Pro Football Hall of Famer recently sold his old home and purchased a swanky new house in Big D.

Once listed at $6,850,000, the home dropped under $5 million. Aikman paid just $4,250,000. Also, as per the Candy’s Dirt real estate blog:

Of course, there is a remodel underway — making the closets bigger, re-surfacing, and I just cannot see Troy living with the leopard carpet on the stairs, can you?

Aikman’s three-story casa has a wine room, a morning room with a fireplace and a media room with a concession stand. Maybe Aikman can hire Tony Siragusa to work the concession stand once he’s eaten his way off TV?

Highlights of Troy Aikman’s New Dallas House:

5 bedrooms, 5 baths and 4 half-baths

4.5 miles to the Silver City Cabaret, but just 2.5 miles to the Tin Room

1.7 miles from Whole Foods
