The Boston Red Sox are in the middle of a West Coast swing. Even though the Sox have split their first six games of the road trip and remain entrenched atop the American League East, most Red Sox fans have discussed that the team could be in the middle of a transition.
I hate to say it but Jamie Erdahl makes me forget Jenny Dell. #HighFiveCiti

Jamie Erdahl has been subbing in for Jenny Dell on the sidelines during NESN’s broadcasts…OMG!
As she did during a busy time in the spring, Erdahl is looking lovely and keeping Boston sports fans updated. When she hasn’t been getting soaked by a post-game celebration, Erdahl has covered the NBA Draft and the Aaron Hernandez mess, too.
While Boston fans break out Wally Pipp jokes, it’s perhaps worth mentioning that the Red Sox are the organization that let Roger Clemens and Pedro Martinez walk, and traded Fred Lynn and Nomar Garciaparra. Everyone is expendable.
Meanwhile Dell took some pre-planned time off and, she isn’t going anywhere:

The Sox wrap up their four-game series with Seattle Thursday night. They’ll play three in Oakland before returning home. It’s almost worth having the Red Sox make the playoffs to see NESN use Erdahl and Dell in the same game.
