I broadcast the Yankee/ Dodger World Series in ’53, ’55, ’56, ’63 and ’81. No way I could have imagined tweeting a game. –#VinScully

Legendary Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully took over the team’s Twitter feed during Wednesday night’s game against the Yankees in the Bronx, and he was — of course — flawless.
As you can see in the gallery of tweets below, Scully was his usual smooth and breezy self during Wednesday’s game, providing narrative, anecdotes and analysis like the oracle he has established himself to be.
The setting of the game — the Dodgers first trip to Yankee Stadium since 1981 — helped, as it provided a perfect backdrop for Scully’s historical information. And, holster the snark, hardo. When you’re 85, you’ll be lucky to remember how to Google ‘Kate Upton topless on horse 2013.’
