Carlos Beltran Lowers Price On His House With A Horrible Theater; $4.99M

You might remember way back to March of 2012 when we showed you the Long Island house that Carlos Beltran was trying to sell, which would finalize his relationship dating back to his Mets days. The bad news for the Mets’ bust is that the 8,800 sq. ft. house is STILL on the market.

His new asking price: $4.99 million, a slash of $802,000 from the 2012 asking price. He paid $4,250,000 in 2005.

This is the same house that we noted has one of the worst athlete home theaters ever posted on Busted. That said, this is probably the time to remind you that Beltran has made $160,952,782 during his MLB career.

He’ll be fine if he loses a couple hundred on the place.

Highlights of Beltran’s Pad:

• 7 beds, 8 baths

• Horribly boring pool/patio layout

• The basement bar area is nice, but four chairs? Uh, not cool

• The guy has a giant painting of himself in the bar area

5.7 miles to Whole Foods

25 miles to Rick’s Cabaret

Asking: $4.995 million

Mortgage: About $20,000 a month before extras
