Utah High School Pitcher “Happy To Be Alive” After Line Drive Catch [VIDEO]

On the same day when Toronto Blue Jays pitcher J.A. Happ was drilled with a line drive to the head,  Utah high school pitcher Jordan Cobabe made a line drive catch that could’ve done some serious damage to his face.

According to a KSL-TV videographer:

Syracuse pitcher Jordan Cobabe with great face-saving catch. Dave Noriega was shooting the game for KSL TV in Salt Lake, when he gave his son, Cole and his friend Parker Last a chance to shoot an inning of baseball. Parker captured the play of the day.

As you can see in the video, Cobabe has what seems like less than a second to react to this line drive.

Of course Cobabe (@CaptainCobabe) understood the magnitude of what had happened. By the way, Cobabe got the 4-2 win.
