Loaded Athletes Who Didn’t Hit The $500 Million Powerball

Didn’t win the $500 million Powerball last night? Join the crowd. You and a bunch of rich athletes are in the same boat. Maybe you heard that Larry Fitzgerald was going to split his tickets with Twitter users who retweeted his Powerball ticket tweet and Facebook followers who “liked” the photo. Winning tickets were sold in Arizona and Missouri.

Approximately 120,000 people were in on the tickets. Each person would get $4,167.

The last tweet from Fitzgerald was this morning: “I have my 3 tickets w/ a total of 25 sets of numbers and I am about to see if we won the #powerball.” Larry didn’t have a winner. He should be thankful he didn’t have the winning ticket because of the fiasco it would cause.
