Back in March, former Bengals cheerleader Sarah Jones was indicted for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student. Jones was in court today and pleaded guilty to the charges that she was sexually active with one of the students she taught at Dixie Heights High School.
Facing a maximum of five years in prison, Jones might not even end up spending any time behind bars. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer:
On the custodial interference charge, Kenton County Circuit Court Judge Patricia Summe sentenced Jones to two years, diverted for five years probation. If Jones does not violate probation, she will be able to petition to have the felony expunged from her record.
On the charge of sexual misconduct, Jones was sentenced to 12 months probated for two years.
The sketchiest part of this whole case? Jones was seen leaving the courtroom with her ‘victim.’ How can she plead guilty to these “crimes” and just casually walk out of the courtroom with the guy? Even shadier:
Jones’ attorney Eric Deters would not comment on the nature of the relationship between the two.
