Rory McIlroy Drives Ball Off Kid’s Head At British Open; Settles For Double [VIDEO]

Rory McIlroy, this afternoon, is working through the tough weather at the British Open as the winds have kicked up considerably for the afternoon tee times. How bad are the winds? Well, here is Rory at 15 pushing one right on the 462-yard Par 4. You figure it’s going in the rough, punch out and hope for par. Not Rory. He’s going off some kid’s melon and O.B. Back to the tee box.

Meanwhile, kid looks concussed.

It also looks like English bro took a head wound, but got a signed glove out of the ordeal. Not really that bad considering he’ll survive and goes home with a collectible to remember his effort.

McIlroy went back to the tee box and settled for double bogey.
