Altoona Catcher Literally Going Balls To The Wall For This Foul Ball [VIDEO]

You know what we like to see from AA-ball catchers? Effort. Only one to catch the eye of scouts, boys. Effort. So this week in Reading, the R-Phils were playing Altoona (used to be Pirates affiliate). Ramon Cabrera was working behind the plate. One thing led to another and a hitter bloops a foul ball towards the first base dugout. Cabrera, being ever the gamer, gives chase.

Remember, this time of years scouts are watching like hawks.

Premise of Video: YOU MUST WATCH THIS ALL THE WAY TO THE END! There are three camera angles of Cabrera going into the fence, but the third shot is the best. Turn up your headphones.

Climax of Video: Um, helluva collision. Good job, good effort.

Conclusion: Good job, good effort.
