The image you see was taken today and is indeed New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez and tight end Dustin Keller.
But don’t get too excited. They’re just all decked out in their uniforms because they were shooting a spot for Verizon at the Rose Bowl. In fact, they were joined by several other players over the past two days.
Fullback John Connor rounded out the Jets trio. Also on hand were the Houston Texans‘ DeMeco Ryans and J.J. Watt, the Green Bay Packers‘ Clay Matthews, and the New Orleans Saints‘ Drew Brees, Carl Nicks and Jermon Bushrod.
No word on who won the game, but we’re told Sanchez managed the game well and didn’t make mental mistakes.
Meanwhile, the lawyers continue to hash out the final details of the new collective bargaining agreement, which, you know, has been imminent for about three weeks now.
