Nearly all of you have no clue as to how the underbelly of the blogosphere works.
Back in late 2007 I was introduced to a group of bloggers via a Google Group. In those days, sites such as Hottest Girls of MySpace mixed with The Dirty. Busted Coverage and Brahsome. Don Chavez and Blog of Hilarity. On205th and Cuzoogle.
And then there was the legendary DJ Mick. The Grandfather of Internet Poon.
The SEO Genius. The Professor of 404 Errors.
By this point we’ve forgotten how DJ Mick became a part of the men’s entertainment Google Group but it was one of the best – if not the best – thing to ever happen to Busted Coverage.
Have a server issue at 5:30 A.M. on a Saturday? No worries, Mick is up. He was living in the U.K. (now Asia). And he’d be there to answer questions. Still does.
Need some traffic to a certain post? Mick has been there more than once for us and never treated us like a bunch of rookies like we were. He was/is always patient and understanding of different levels of expertise.
Enough with the ass kissing. Our buddy is celebrating his 10-year Internet anniversary today with the goal of hitting the 1 million pageview mark. Yeah, 1 million pageviews in a 24-hour period. He gets more traffic than most newspapers in the United States.
So, do your part to help Mick. Go look at boobs and stick around for crazy videos or multiple posts on every possible celebrity you could ever think of.
