Cuff 'Em: These Are The Crazy Bastards Who Scaled The Glass At Bruins-Capitals Game

Two brothers, apparently so hammered that climbing the glass at a Boston Bruins game sounded like a cool idea, will find out their fate today after being arrested Saturday night.

We’ve seen pretty much all the streaking/fan on the field incidents imaginable, but hockey had yet to find our radar – until now.

Jonathan Parker, 20, and Matthew Parker, 17, of Bow, N.H., scaled the boards and got onto the ice at the TD Garden, interrupting the game against the Washington Capitals, police said. Jonathan Parker was wearing the jersey of forward Milan Lucic when he allegedly pulled off the stunt.

The 9:30 p.m. incident delayed the game for a few minutes, police said. Authorities said they detected “a strong odor of alcohol emanating” from the brothers.

The Boston Herald actually has a photo of the one brother, in his Bruins jersey and hat on backwards, going over the glass.

Look, we hate to see anyone break the law because it could be dangerous for all involved, but this is preventable. Arm the linesmen with Tasers. They’d be like TSA agents. Some dickwad tries to scale a board, shoot to immobilize.
