The Google Earth image above is of the high school football field in Hazelton, Pennsylvania. That giant rod and ball bearings was burnt into the football field a couple years back. Google has yet to update its satellite imagery.
That leads us to today’s Cuff ‘Em out of suburban Salt Lake City where some football players were arrested Sunday morning.
Lehi police Lt. Darren Paul says an officer spotted two of the five athletes running across the Lehi High School football field Sunday, and he commanded them to stop. One complied and the other took off — but he and three others were soon picked up by police.
Paul says the five were arrested on felony graffiti charges because of the extensive damage the vandalism — which consisted of vulgar phrases and pictures — caused to walls, a sidewalk, portable bathrooms and on the football field.
Just a hunch. The pictures were of dongs.
All we are waiting on now is for a Busted Coverage tipster to send us photos, tell us what the phrases were or Google Earth to update its image of the Lehi football field where the images have been painted over but could start showing at any time.
Email us with the police report, your images or photos of other football fields that have been vandalized with dongs.
