Tony Dungy retires from the Colts.
This may not be a big deal to you since you are probably not a Colts fan but it is a big deal here in Indiana. Tony Dungy retires, his coaching talent made the team what it was today. We will just have to wait and see how the new coach does, but he will never be a Tony Dungy, maybe he will make a name for himself rather than “Tony Dungy’s Replacement.”
His coaching statistics at Indy are:
Record:Â 85-28 (.759)
Playoffs: Went to 7 consecutive playoffs either as 1 seed or 2 seed.
Superbowl: Won the Superbowl in 2006.
Record: Coached a team with 5 consecutive seasons with 12+ wins.
Tony, you will be missed.
