Beating The Man: Making It Rain On Kidd, Huge Yao Ming Statue

A bachelorette party tradition: Making It Rain On Jason Kidd

It was inevitable that Busted Coverage would expand. A blogger is only as good as the free help he gets from the community. Today we introduce a feature we hope will become a Friday ritual. BC is lucky to have Ralph of Sport Betting Information dropping some betting weekend advice for you degenerates. We’re giving Ralph a two-week shot and then kicking his ass to the curb if he can’t produce. Enjoy.

It’s pretty sad when a .500 Eastern Conference team can make it into the playoffs but over in the Western Conference it’s so tight Kobe Bryant may finally have to leave his ego at home. That being said, the big story at the NBA trade deadline was not the Phoenix Suns acquisition of Shaquille O’Neal. No, the one that’ll really count come playoff time is the return of Jason Kidd to the Dallas Mavericks.

“You just don’t understand how hard he works at this game,” Kidd said of Nowitzki to the Dallas Morning News. “That’s going to make me better and hungry. It just shows that if he puts in that type of time, I need to do the same thing.”

Dallas Mavericks at L.A. Lakers (ABC 3:30 PM ET, Sunday, Mar 02) Free Pick: Dallas ATS

Yao Ming Stars in “My Left Foot”

Without Yao Ming the Houston Rockets are crap. Yep, that season-ending stress fracture in Ming’s left foot stinks something awful. Ah well…so much for that sweet 10-0 win streak. Life sucks and then everything just goes down the old shitter. (Cue the flushing toilet.)

Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets (ESPN 8:00 PM ET, Sunday, Mar 02) Free Pick: Denver ATS
