Kansas City Royals, Oakland Athletics, Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Orioles, and the Pittsburgh Pirates? Can someone check...
While baseball dorks are fretting over the 2012 MLB awards (like Bryce Harper and Mike Trout wouldn’t win ROY), we’ve been racking our...
Back in May we reported some big time WAG news. Former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Ann Lux was reportedly engaged to Red Sox infielder Will Middlebrooks. It was an adorable story. The two met when they were 12-years-old and grew up together. It was practically a movie script waiting to happen. Until now. A seemingly normal photo surfaced of Lux out on the town with some friends...but look closer. No engagement ring! That's right, Lux ditched the rock! JUMP!
Now 60+ games into the 2012 MLB season, there are some disturbing trends developing that make us think that there will be certain cities actually paying attention to baseball in late August & September. Take Pittsburgh, for example. The Pirates are four games over .500, a game back from the first place Reds and two games in front of the Cardinals. As for the WAGs, some ladies have dealt with injuries & others are enjoying breakout seasons. Time to check-in. JUMP!
We've now made it to Memorial Day weekend and figured it was time to check in with our MLB WAGs To Watch in 2012 list. There have been WAGs dealing with injuries, WAGs dealing with slumps and even one WAG dealing with her MLB meal ticket (Brett Lawrie) being suspended for throwing his helmet and hitting an umpire. We've had a WAG breakup & a surprise rookie WAG come out of nowhere (Ann Lux). Jump!
Will Middlebrooks has more HRs than Albert Pujols. Has the same amount of RBI (14) as Pujols. Has a better batting average. And has scored just one fewer run (9) than Pujols. Never heard of Middlebrooks? He's the third baseman replacement while Kevin Youkilis is on the DL. This Middlebrooks character is also going to be marrying a former Cowboys cheerleader, Ann Lux, in December. Hell yes, this guy is on track for stardom. JUMP!
Good news for the Kansas City Royals this year. You get the MLB All-Star Game and Jonathan Sanchez will be back in your rotation. Yep, that Sanchez of Giants fame. Threw the no-hitter. Blah, blah, blah. We're here today to help K.C. radio dorks have something to actually talk about other than a year of 65 wins. You guys are lucky enough to have one of the hottest, unheard of WAGs coming to town. Her name: Audris Rijo. JUMP!
Great news for baseball and it has nothing to do with where a free agent will be heading in February for pitchers/catchers. News that Grady Sizemore asked Playboy Playmate Brittany Binger to marry him was exactly what the sport needed during the offseason. The more hot chicks associated with your sport as a wife or girlfriend, the better. And now it's up to Cleveland's Sports Time Ohio to get Brittany on TV as much as possible. JUMP!
Via BC Afternoon Editor Monty: Former pitcher Kris Benson's hot, dumb stripper wife Anna Benson is back and she's not only looking great, but she's dropping her usual bits of insightful knowledge. Oh, and she's starring in this show called Baseball Wives too, but that's not what's important right now. Anna tells us why Kris got traded by the Mets (her funbags!), how classy she is and her new method of punishing Kris if he cheats. Hey, we've got some fine-ass pics of too! Check it!
This news has been buried within the WAG world for many months, but it now comes to light within the sports blogosphere that journeyman outfielder Laynce Nix will be marrying the legendary Cowboys cheerleader Brooke Sorenson. Gentlemen, we're talking about a guy who has 64 career MLB HRs. A .246 career average. In other words, there is hope. We've got the registry & more on Laynce using baseball to hit the chick lottery.
