Even the homeless who were fed probably didn't even have a good time watching the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl between the UCLA Bruins and the Illinois Illini. The game was filled with absolutely no offense, terribly ran fake field goals, and apparently these three bros were the only ones who gave a shit. Thank God the UCLA cheerleaders were on the sideline looking good otherwise this game would have been a dumpster fire. The Illinois team did completely miss their coach with the Gatorade bath. JUMP!
So our cheerleader correspondent, Asher from College Cheerleader Heaven, sent an email at 10:45 EST: Just a few Oklahoma State cheerleaders on a ski trip deciding to rock their bikinis on the slopes. Those are words from a God. This guy has intel on cheerleaders that you can't imagine. Dude has so many Facebook contacts that we're actually thinking of hiring him before SB Nation gets another influx of cash. Go hit the slopes with OSU. There are hugging pics you need to see.
How is it that Kyle in Ogden is the first person to email us this cheerleader accident video that's been on YouTube for nearly a month? "Guys...you missed this sh*t from a cheerleader at my school. Nearly dies when this idiot misses the spin move," Kyle wrote to us last night. He also sent the chick's Facebook account. Look, we rarely pay attention to WAC sports, let alone basketball unless it has to do with Jimmer dropping 50 on Idaho. Yes, we know BYU isn't in the WAC - JUMP!
You pumped up for two struggling college football superpowers playing in the Gator Bowl on January 2? Yeah, same here. But imagine for a second that you are a member of the Florida Gators football program and were dumped by Urban Meyer because of his poor heart ailment. Imagine you're UF cheerleader Tarin and you commit to the Gators because Urban gets the team to BCS games in exotic locales like Glendale or New Orleans. This bowl game is personal. JUMP!
We kicked off Bowl Week Babes Bonanza yesterday with an Arizona State dancer named Shelbie who just happens to be dating Jack Elway III. Today, thanks to our correspondent Asher at College Cheer Heaven, we meet South Carolina Gamecocks cheerleader Ellison. Are we a little early on the Capital One Bowl hot chick (Jan. 2)? Yes, but you can never get enough 'Cocks cheerleader poon in December so we just fire these chicks at you as fast as possible. JUMP!
It's that time of the year when Busted Coverage bucks the norm & hands out sports awards you guys actually care about. Which one of you fools sat through that garbage from ESPN last night. You really care Robert Griffin won the Davey O'Brien Award? Sh!t, that thing will be in a pawn shop within 2-3 years. Might fill the Escalade for a trip from Texas to training camp. Anyway, today we get our yearly BC Awards rolling with Best Cheerleader Rack Of 2011. JUMP!
Mark Richt and the Georgia Dawgs came prepared to play the LSU Tigers. After scoring a Field Goal, Georgia went for the onside kick and got it. Apparently the Georgia Wide Receivers made sure to cover their hands with vaseline in order to make sure they wouldn't catch a single pass from Aaron Murray. The Honey Badger returned a punt for a Touchdown energizing the LSU crowd. He takes what he wants. Bonus: hot cheerleaders! JUMP!
Of course the only reason to watch last night's Pac-12 Championship was for the cheerleaders and to see how bad Oregon could destroy a horrible UCLA game. How did UCLA get into the Pac-12 Championship, you ask? That's what happens when USC has bowl eligibility stripped thanks to Reggie Bush. The shitty Bruins go by default. As for the cheerleaders, this'll be the last time you'll see the ladies in '11. Next stop - The Rose Bowl. JUMP!
Taylor Young is the name of the Michigan State cheerleader who was smashed against the Breslin Center floor last night in a freak cheerleading accident. It was an emotional moment and even Mike Tirico was a little choked up. However, Taylor's father, Charles, got on Facebook and posted what has to be one of the greatest injury updates in the history of cheerleading parenting. You see that booty shot via the AP? Yeah, well dad went there. JUMP!
Remember when New Year's Day used to be the greatest football day of the year. We'll just go out on a limb and say the next 48 hours in football will kick the shit out of New Year's Day. Detroit-Green Bay. Nap time during Mia-Dallas. Up all night with S.F. & Baltimore. And throw in Texas-Texas A&M in for commercial breaks. Then, tomorrow, the networks go nuts with at least 7 TV games that are decent & LSU vs. Arkansas. Gobble, gobble. Let's get rolling!
Yes, that's two BOOM's in one day. Swear we'll stop tomorrow. Anyway, it's LSU-Bama Week® and it's our intention to stick with the BC plan of doing things differently than the rest of these tools with an WordPress account. About two years ago we discovered, by accident, an Alabama cheerleader named Sidney McGough and was instantly smitten with her ability to kill animals. Deer, turkey, largemouth bass, saltwater fish. DEAD. Anyway, here's her update. JUMP!
Kudos to the Oregon Ducks cheerleading unit. Yes, we've said that over and over again. While other cheerleading units like the Song Girls, the crazy Indianapolis Colts' cheerleaders, the Jets Flight Crew and others are embargoing their galleries, UO is headed in the opposite direction. Last year the ladies went on a lake retreat. That became an instant BC greatest hit. For 2011 the bar was raised. How about the Oregon Duck mascot & 140 HP hauling ladies around on a boat? JUMP!
Thanks to a reader, Zach in Portland, we have yet another investigation into the University of Oregon cheerleading unit. "I've looked at hundreds of photos of UO cheerleaders out in the wild and a bunch have belly button piercings. In the photos you show they don't have them. Whats up," Zach wrote in an email. Great question, Zach. Good to see our readers nosing around the NCAA for more than just violations. Our research - JUMP!
It has been almost two years since the Ducks played a football game in Tuscon, but the cheerleading team hasn't forgotten what happened on that Nov. night. Legendary Ducks cheerleader Katelynn Johnson was drilled with a full water bottle in a postgame disaster. Who can possibly forget the beautiful blonde cheerleader laying on the field while medical personnel attended to her? Not us. Not the current cheerleaders, either. We shall never forget! JUMP!
To this day it remains one of Busted Coverage's greatest hits with the male student population on the West Virginia University campus. Last year BC became a destination for Morgantown nutjobs wanting to see their cheerleaders in the wild, doing crazy #$%^ not seen on Facebook or in some stupid Twitpic gallery. Thanks to our sources, the galleries kept coming. But we never had a HUGE football game to do a retrospective. Here you go, boys. Start clicking. JUMP!
It's all the rage for college football programs across the country. The battle between Nike and Under Armour to out pro-combat each other is at a fevered pitch. But there is only one sporting manufacturer that seems to be getting into the cheerleader pro-combat market and, oddly enough, it's Nike. Say hello to the camo, two-piece Oregon Ducks' cheerleader uniforms that recently made their world debut against Nevada. Your move, Song Girls. JUMP!
