Not going to sit here & tell you guys that I stuck around the office Saturday night for the Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate Strikeforce fight. Got around to seeing the fight yesterday and about puked when Rousey looked to have broken Tate's arm with this insane arm bar. Tate cleared the air last night, telling an MMA outlet that the x-rays don't show any breaks. Whatever. Anyway, Rousey is 5-0 & all 5 victories are via arm bar. Say hello to the new face of MMA. JUMP!
Got a message from BC's new hire, Asher, this afternoon about UFC Ring Girls. "Hey, did you see the new Japanese chick at UFC 144?" Um, no, but tell us more. Supposedly this was a guest appearance by Azusa Nishigaki, but something tells us she'll be making many more appearances on the UFC circuit thanks to her bikini abilities and the growing number of fans in Japan that are getting tired of Arianny Celeste. Can't blame them. JUMP!
The UFC's official pre-show Fight Day Live is back on TODAY at 5:30pm ET/2:30pm PT. Hosts Dave Farra & Megan Olivi will prepare you for all the fighting action at UFC 144 including the big UFC light heavyweight title fight featuring champion Frankie Edgar and challenger Ben Henderson. Tonight we take you to the world of regional MMA, which isn't much different than regular MMA, except body parts are coming off people's bodies. Kenneth Crowder delivered an elbow so vicious it ripped his opponent, Shane Tyner's ear right off. Seriously. You can see it laying right there on the mat. David Cronenberg couldn't have scripted it much better. Here's the video. Don't watch it while eating. JUMP!
UFC Ring Girl Arianny Celeste has been busy in Miami recently with some bikini modeling gigs. It was just 10 days ago that we proclaimed these to be the best Arianny bikini photos of all time. Today's gallery might change our minds. The key word - might. The problem today is that Arianny doesn't really model her ass in this bikini. Gotta see more ass, hun. Need to turn around that caboose for the paparazzi. Still an A- bikini shoot. JUMP!
Playboy has stepped into the sports world once again and we're all over it. This month's magazine features UFC ring girl Brittney Palmer, who's looking better than she ever has. While you're going to have to find the pics yourself, we're happy to give you this safe for work video from Palmer's Playboy shoot. If your blood is flowing, this will probably be enough. When you're done, support a local business and go buy the magazine. Check it!
Coed's marketing director, Steve G., sent this over about 20 minutes ago and all he could say about Arianny Celeste yesterday in Miami was "She looks good, man." Of course that's the understatement of 2012. This is one of those moments where airbrushing has not occurred. This is straight off the beach lounger. Hair pulled back. Size too small bikini. Just a smokeshow UFC Ring Girl in the wild doing what she does. JUMP!
Fight Day Live is coming back at you February 4th for another star studded show from the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas for UFC 143: Condit vs. Diaz. Hosts Dave Farra and Megan Olivi will prepare you for all the fighting action on Saturday and the expert panel of Matt Brown, John Morgan and Larry Pepe will break down the pay per view card and give their opinion on who will take home the win. Also slated for Fight Day Live are two, live on set, interviews. JUMP!
Via: An unknown male subject entered a Tedeschi [Portsmouth, NH] convenience store, displayed a semi-automatic hand gun and demanded money from the cashier. During a search of the area, patrol units located a black hat and red bandana that are believed to have been worn by the suspect during the robbery. Woah, wait just a minute robbery dude. You did what with the robbery disguise? Threw out the Tap Out hat? Cops will have your ass by Friday.
It was our maiden voyage into the world of bedazzled shirts & long lines at the men's bathroom at a UFC fight. Last night in Chicago wasn't really about the fights for us. Yes, Rashad Evans got a decision over Phil Davis & his shot Jon Jones & the light heavyweight belt. And, of course, Chael Sonnen should now get his rematch with Anderson Silva. All great stuff, but one item really stuck out in our minds. Who is that blonde rolling in Mike Vick's entourage? JUMP!
Chael Sonnen just gave one of the best post game speeches in UFC history. He took down Michael Bisping. He asked Joe Rogan how it felt to be inches away from greatness and used referred to himself in the third person more times than I could count. Joe Rogan handled it well when Chael told him it was his Octagon and his microphone. Chael ended the it with "Beat me if you can". Video after the JUMP!
Demian Maia took on Chris Weidman in the Octagon where Weidman won on a split decision. Jay Koot is in the stands in Chicago watching live. Make sure you buy the guy a beer or three. Chael Sonnen and Michael Bisping duked it out and the main event for the fight was Rashad Evans taking on Phil Davis. All the hard hits, knock downs, UFC girls and wrap ups you can imagine after the JUMP!
Section 118, Row 10, Seat 8 in case you guys want to bring me a beer. We're in the auxiliary media section which means I'm not stuck with all the stuffy media dorks cageside. Instead of telling you about what you can see on TV, we'll just upload pics tonight showing you what a night at the UFC is all about. We've run into Shonie Carter, had a moment with Randy Couture and had the pleasure of seeing exactly how small Dominick Cruz really is. Pics - JUMP!
You know what intimidates the hell out of us? A black guy, Michael 'The Menace' Johnson, wearing a Bulls hoodie hat into the weigh-in for tomorrow's UFC on Fox 2. Shane Roller, his opponent seemed to be quivering. What's the real news here? BC is headed to Chicago for the fights. Press row, boys. Hopefully within proposal distance of the Ring Girls. It's our first foray into the UFC world so you'll probably want to be here for the shenanigans. Prelims start at 5 EST on Fuel.
Earlier today, TheScore.com had an interview with UFC boss Dana White where the MMA overlord unleashed his feelings on the SOPA anti-piracy bill that was to go before Congress. White supports SOPA. That didn't sit well with Internet hackers. So last night, one Twitter user named @JoshTheGod decided to go after White on a personal level. We're told that there is a file floating around with a SS#, a VIN # & personal phone numbers. Who is this Josh dude? JUMP!

Gina Carano hasn't stepped into the octagon in two years and it doesn't look like she will be anytime soon, either. That doesn't mean she hasn't been busy. Carano is doing her best to become an action star. She'll star in the Steven Soderbergh flick Haywire, which opens later this month. She also stripped down for GQ and let's just say, she's kept in shape. Here are the photos and the lowdown on Carano. Check it!
UFC 141 was supposed to be the night Brock Lesnar beat Dutch import Alistair Overeem and then got another shot at the UFC heavyweight title held by Junior Dos Santos. Not going to happen. Overeem landed this kick to Lesnar's ribs, among other devastating kicks & knees, sending the former champion to the canvas where it was eventually over. (Video) During the post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, Lesnar told the world he was finished. Over. Going home. Let's get rolling!
