You might remember Jamie Erdahl from her days covering the Boston Red Sox for NESN. Or maybe for her work as a CBS NFL reporter. This week you’ll be seeing a bunch of Erdahl as the sideline reporter for TruTV and TBS from the First Four in Dayton to Denver where she’ll work games like Utah-Fresno State and Seton Hall-Gonzaga.
Erdahl, a Minnesota native, joined CBS in 2014 and works regular season basketball after finishing her NFL duties where she serves as a reporter for the CBS pregame show, according to her bio. She played basketball and softball at St. Olaf College in Minnesota before transferring to American University where she told told the campus newsletter in 2011: “I would love to work for a NBA team after I have done sideline reporting for NCAA basketball,” she said. “I used to say as a joke that I want to be a sideline reporter for Monday Night Football.”
Two years later she took Jenny Dell’s job as the Red Sox reporter for NESN and the rest is history.
