Tacoma Teacher Denies Little Girl From Wearing Broncos Dress

There’s nothing Seahawks fans love more than being loud and protecting home field. Just ask a five-year-old Broncos fan named Zyliah all about it.
Zyliah thought she would be safe wearing a Broncos dress to her Tacoma school on “Blue Friday,” but she learned the hard way that a lot of NFL fans are morons — her teacher Mrs. Watson included.
Per KDVR, Mrs. Watson told her student that she would have to wear a school uniform (ugh) if she wasn’t rocking Seahawks gear:

“She walked up to me and I knew something was wrong,” Allen [Zylia’s grandmother] said. “She just kind of put her head down and said, ‘Grandma, Mrs. Watson told me I can’t wear my Broncos dress. If I don’t have a Seahawks shirt I have to wear my uniform.’”

You know who probably had a good laugh about this? That kid pictured behind Zyliah in a Russell Wilson jersey. It wouldn’t surprise us if he was yucking it up and drinking recovery water while his teacher chewed out this girl.
The issue was later cleared up by the Tacoma School District:

“The teacher didn’t understand the full scope of what ‘Blue Friday’ means and sought clarification from the principal. ‘Blue Friday’ means all teachers and students can wear gear from whatever team they want.”
