Remember when Dan Haren had reservations about not pitching primarily on the West Coast? That was such an alternative Javier Vazquez-esque stance on his part. Ultimately, he decided to hold off on retirement and earn that cool $10 million while living in Miami. Through two starts, it’s looking like a great decision.
The righty tossed solid seven innings Wednesday night, striking out 5 and allowing just two runs against the Braves to earn his first win of the year. After the game, however, Dan had to deal with another challenge — a gassy Uber driver.
Fortunately for the driver, Dan was still riding the high of his victory:
My uber driver just farted. It smells so disgusting but I'm giving him 4 stars because I had a good day today. He's lucky.

The Orange County Register’s Bill Plunkett wasn’t buying it, and attempted to pawn off blame on Dan:
@ithrow88 Riiiiight. The old "Blame it on the Uber driver" excuse. Nice try.

Only to be rebuffed with TMI:
@billplunkettocr come on bill, when I fart I own it. Everyone knows that

Dan’s teammate, Tom Koehler, also got in the fart mix and may be responsible for some unfortunate future fumes in the Marlins clubhouse:
