Earlier today, we wrote up a quick piece about a high school student who magically mustered up 10,000 retweets so he could take Taylor Anderson (girlfriend of Nik Stauskas) to prom. Taylor and Nik were surprisingly chill about the whole thing, and it looks like both of them will be heading to a random prom to hang out with some teens. (Nik has to make sure the kid doesn’t get handsy, obviously.)
Though it’s a pretty cool story, we mentioned in the post that we wouldn’t be surprised if some unoriginal high schoolers took to Twitter to see if they too could get lucky. As you can see below, we didn’t have to wait long to get results. So sorry you had to become a victim of this trend, Whitney Fredette (formerly Whitney Wonnacott):
