Dwane Casey Will Fight Coaches if Kyle Lowry Isn’t an All-Star

We all know that NBA All-Star voting is an absolute farce. I mean, goddamn Jeremy Lin has almost 47,000 more votes than Tony Parker—that’s what happens when you let the LCD vote.
But Toronto Raptors head coach Dwane Casey will not stand for these voting injustices, revealing Tuesday that he will fight coaches if Kyle Lowry doesn’t make the Eastern Conference team:

It’s pretty much a given that Lowry would make the team if the NBA didn’t let fanboys vote for crappy players. The guy leads all East point guards in PER (24.14) and is averaging over 20 points and nearly eight assists on a third-place Raptors squad. The only other player who has a real argument to start over him is John Wall.
Though a small part me now hopes Lowry doesn’t get voted in just so we can see a coach showdown between Casey and Mike Budenholzer (or whoever is coaching in this joke game).
