Pudge Rodriguez Still Trying To Unload Michigan Mansion — Now $1.89 Million

Potential Hall of Fame catcher (probably not—thanks, Jose Conseco) Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez played a total of 21 seasons in his MLB career, so yeah, the dude made a shitload of money—a whopping $122,573,932 to be exact. During Pudge’s long career, he made a five-year stop with the Detroit Tigers, setting up home base in fancy pants Bloomfield, MI. But it appears that time in Bloomfield is no more, as Rodriguez has officially listed his 3,657 square-foot home for a reasonable $1,899,000.
Let’s be real, this is probably like one-of-eight houses Pudge owns spanning the states and his native Puerto Rico.
According to the realtor:

Situated high on the bluff with sweeping views of the lake! Features include: Gourmet kitchen with large breakfast circular room; 1st floor master suite; Private courtyard with outdoor fireplace; Walk-out LL; Full bar and entertainment area; Custom designed theater; Wine cellar; Exercise room and guest suite; Custom designed use of stone in many rooms; Unique floor plan with wonderful views.

Yadda-yadda-yadda. It’s cool to be immune to jawdropping features by now, right?

Other highlights of Ivan Rodriguez’s Michigan Mansion:

  • 5 beds/ 3.3 baths / 3,657 sqft/ 2003 built
  • Security patrol included (because, still near Detroit)
  • If I’m being real, sure it’s a mansion, but the interior design of the place leaves a lot to be desired (e.g., random exposed brick in the kitchen)
  • Only 5.7 miles from Whole Foods
  • 11.6 miles from Penthouse Club

Mortgage: $7,323/mo. before you even start talking taxes, cleaning, redecorating, etc.
