Ryan Tannehill's Brother Tobyn Beats Johnny Manziel's High School On 40-Yard Hail Mary

Johnny Manziel’s high school team got Manziel’d Friday night by Ryan Tannehill’s brother. Tobyn Tannehill, the Big Spring (TX) QB, went nuts on Manziel’s alma mater (Kerrville Tivy), including a wild Hail Mary to win 58-56. Ryan’s little brother had himself a game: threw for 280, ran for 240 and accounted for five touchdowns to beat Tivy 58-56.
Here’s the full report from Max Preps:

After allowing the go-ahead touchdown with 27 seconds remaining, the Steers drove the ball 70 yards for the game-winning touchdown to defeat Kerrville Tivy 58-56. The final play came in the form of a 40-yard Hail Mary from Tobyn Tannehill to Hunter Hill. Big Spring (1-0) had 669 yards of offense and Tivy (0-1) put up 683 yards.

Of course Tobyn, having been trained by watching his brother handle the media, was humble about the performance.

The 6-0, 158 senior wasn’t getting a ton of interest from colleges before Friday’s legendary game. That might all be changing as of this week when this tape starts hitting the mainstream blogosphere and eventually ends up on SportsCenter because there’s a Manziel angle.
