As of press time, Rory McIlroy was -9 through 13 holes in his second round at the British Open and had a three-shot lead on Francesco Molinari and Dustin Johnson. Why all of a sudden is McIlroy playing better? The only answer we have come up with is that he dumped a needy Caroline Wozniacki and found himself an Irish model named Nadia Forde who can actually travel with him and provide support on a weekly basis.
Rory’s last win in a major came at the 2012 PGA. He hasn’t won a tournament since September 2012 when he won the BMW Championship.
As for Forde, she recently flipped her Fiat 500 six times in a crash. She’s fine and Rory is on fire. Seems like it was meant to be.
