The Asian Bat Flippers have done it again. These guys really will bat flip at any point in any game of the year. There is never a bad time to bat flip.

Take this incident in a recent Korean Baseball Organization game between Samsung and Nexen. I’ll let Dan from @MyKBO walk you through this one.

Samsung’s Rick VandenHurk was going for the complete game shut-out, until Nexen’s Park Heon-do hit a 2-run home run. (it was Park’s 1st career home run)

Two things: Why is VandenHurk still in the game going for a complete game shutout when it’s 18-0? And, you can’t really blame Heon-do here for launching the wood. Dude gets to the KBO, wants to prove — at 27 — that he’s worthy of the call-up and he got excited.

Rick has pitched in 50+ MLB games so he knows this wouldn’t fly in the U.S., but it’s life in the KBO. He got the win and is 5-1 with a 2.77 ERA this season. He doesn’t seemed fazed by the Asian Bat Flippers.
