Stephen Jackson, no longer part of the NBA after being waived by the Clippers in January after only playing in nine games, has listed his incredible San Antonio house for a cool $3,000,000. Now 36, it appears Jackson is headed for retirement and has no need for this 10,000 sq. ft. beast featuring seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
Jackson, who amassed $68,627,254 in career NBA earnings, bought the house in 2012. You are correct, his stay was short-lived.
According to his realtor:
Bringing the Hollywood Hills to San Antonio, this pristine palace is perched atop 2.25 majestic acres inside the guard-gated Dominion. Spectacular main house, private maid and guest quarters, plus pool cabana and gym. Resort-style pool and patio area look out on sparkling lights and sunsets. Grand entryway with double marble staircase. Chandeliers, wine room, private media room, gym, elevator. 11 car showcase garage. Unparalleled detailing in a masterfully designed estate.
You get the idea. Your job as a marketing assistant isn’t going to pay the mortgage. You might be able to rent one of the bedrooms.
The only big disappointment here is the pool. The rock is nice, but that’s a tiny pool. This house needs an Asante Samuel pool. The nearest Whole Foods is 12 miles, while Tiffany’s Cabaret is 10 miles. That’s not bad.
